Seller Verification (KYC) Guide
Why Verification Is Required and How Seller Identity Checks Work on LQTTA Marketplace
To maintain a secure, trusted, and compliant marketplace environment, LQTTA requires sellers to complete a verification process commonly known as KYC (Know Your Customer). This process helps protect customers, legitimate vendors, and the marketplace ecosystem.
1. Why Seller Verification Is Required
- Prevent fraud and fake seller accounts
- Protect customer transactions and trust
- Comply with financial and marketplace regulations
- Reduce disputes and payment risks
- Maintain a safe and professional marketplace environment
2. Documents That May Be Requested
Depending on seller type and business activity, the following documents may be required:
- Government ID or Passport
- Business License or Company Registration
- Proof of Address
- Bank Letter or Recent Bank Statement
All submitted documents must be valid, clear, and match the seller profile information.
3. How the Verification Process Works
- Seller uploads required documents through the seller dashboard.
- The marketplace team reviews the documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Sellers may be contacted if clarification or additional documents are required.
- Once approved, the seller account becomes fully active.
4. How Long Does Verification Take?
Verification time may vary depending on document quality, completeness, and compliance checks. Sellers are encouraged to upload clear and accurate files to avoid delays.
5. Data Privacy & Security
Seller documents are handled securely and used only for verification and compliance purposes. Access is restricted to authorized personnel responsible for verification and risk management.
LQTTA does not publicly display verification documents or sensitive personal information.
6. Re-Verification & Updates
Marketplace sellers may be asked to update or re-submit documents if they expire, if business information changes, or if additional compliance checks are required.
7. What Happens If Verification Is Not Completed?
Sellers who do not complete verification may experience limited account functionality, restricted listings, delayed payouts, or account suspension until compliance requirements are met.
8. Need Help With Verification?
If you experience issues during verification, please contact marketplace support through your seller dashboard for assistance.
